Sadly, too many change initiatives in schools fail before they have started. This is usually because more attention has been given to what the change is rather than how the change initiative will be implemented.
This course concentrates on how change can be implemented successfully and introduces leaders or future leaders to a widely used process that has proved highly successful in schools and businesses.
Whether you are a middle leader, senior leader, Headteacher, or a future leader, knowing how to implement change will be vital in your role.
· Why change initiatives often fail in schools
· 8 areas that leaders need to focus on when trying to initiate change
· Introduction to a process model that helps change initiatives be successful
· How the process can help you to deliver sustainable change in your area
