School Support Staff—Managing Conflict and Conducting Challenging Conversations

In any leadership role there will be times when you will have to address instances where the behaviour or standards of performance by your team or individuals within the team fall short of expectations.

This course looks at the causes  and results of  conflict or poor performance and offers ways of addressing such situations.

This session is suitable for all  hose who are involved in or will be involved in leading teams in any capacity.

Facilitator: Geoff Hewitt

Geoff Hewitt is a leadership and management consultant and training provider for schools and colleges. As a former teacher with over 35 years in secondary schools including 20 years’ experience at senior leader level, Geoff established his own consultancy and training company in 2008, designing and delivering leadership programmes and courses for  local authorities, clusters of schools as well as individual schools and academies.

Geoff is currently providing Leadership programmes for the Preston Teaching School Alliance, the East Lancashire School Support Alliance, and Chorley and South Ribble Schools.

Geoff also works with individual schools designing bespoke training and consultancy for all levels of leadership.
